ANALYZING AND VISUALIZING SCIENTIFIC DATA
We have developed a number of tools to work with THEMIS and other data sets. You’ll find links below to downloads and documentation for software developed by the Mars Space Flight Facility at ASU as well as the U.S. Geological Survey.
A geospatial information system (GIS) that provides easy access to many different data sets of Mars, Earth’s Moon, asteroids Ceres and Vesta and other targets. It is used for mission planning and data-analysis.
TES Data Tool
This tool provides access to all data available in the Mars Global Surveyor TES Data Archive.
dmap is a data mapping tool, which maps Thermal Emission Spectrometer (TES) data onto a projected Mars surface.
A spectral math engine and image processing system for detailed analysis of multi- and hyperspectral planetary data.
Integrated Software for Imagers and Spectrometers
USGS software system used for geometric projection of THEMIS images.
A tool that will allow you to treat table files conforming to the Planetary Data System standard as a hierarchal database and perform simple queries across one or more tables and file segments.
